Passport Fees

There is an application and execution fee. Please prepare two separate payments for these fees as we cannot accept one check because they go to different organizations. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card payments at this time.

Passport Fees

Application fees must be a check or money order written to the U.S. Department of State. (The U.S. Department of State cannot accept starter/temporary checks.)

Adult Passport Book: $130
Child Passport Book (under age 16): $100
Adult Passport Card: $30
Child Passport Card (under age 16): $15

$35 Execution Fee | Per Passport

Execution fees must be cash, money order, or a check written to the University of Minnesota Duluth. The fee is charged for each passport.

$60 Expedited Processing

Please visit the U.S. Department of State website for current processing times. Expedited shipping of passports is available, inquire about the cost.

Passport or Visa Photo Cost

Photo fees can be paid in cash, money order, or a check written to the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Non-Student: $15
University of Minnesota Duluth Student: $10 (present a valid UMD student I.D.)
